Advent and Christmas 2025

As we journey through Advent towards Christmas, we’d love you to join us at St. Hilda's as we celebrate the hope, joy, and light of Christ’s coming.

Saturday 14th December, 4pm – Carols by Candlelight

Join us for a beautiful candlelit service filled with traditional carols, readings, and the warmth of community. Suitable for all ages!

Saturday 21st December, 11am – Pop-Up Nativity

Everyone’s invited to take part in the Christmas story! Come dressed as your favourite nativity character – or borrow a costume on the day – and be part of the fun.

Saturday 21st December, 3pm – Longest Night Service

A quiet, reflective service for those who find Christmas a hard time. Come and find peace, comfort, and space to rest in God’s presence.

Tuesday 24th December, 4pm – Christingle Service

A joyful, all age celebration as we remember Jesus, the Light of the World.

Tuesday 24th December, 11.15pm – Midnight Communion

Welcome Christmas with a service of Holy Communion as we celebrate the birth of Christ together.

We’d love to see you at any (or all!) of these services as we celebrate the good news of Jesus’ coming into the world.
